Walnut Pudding Slices
A dessert that truly requires minimal effort. To exaggerate, you could say that you simply mix all the ingredients in a bowl, and then the oven does the rest. Only at the end, when you slice the dessert, will you see how the layers have separated. And I promise, you’ll be amazed by the taste, especially if you love walnuts.

300 g Sugar, white

250 g Butter, unsalted

200 g chocolate, dark

1 l Milk, whole milk

12 spoon Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking dish measuring 20 x 40 cm with butter and dust it with flour (remove any excess flour). Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler.

Separate the egg yolks and whites into two bowls. Beat the egg whites into stiff peaks, and whisk the egg yolks with sugar until frothy. Add the melted butter and chocolate, mix well, then gradually add the milk, flour, and walnuts. Finally, gently fold in the beaten egg whites.

Pour the batter (it will be very liquid) into the baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes.

Let the baked dessert cool completely before serving. Once cooled, slice it into pieces, dust with powdered sugar, plate, and serve.
