Warm Chickpea Salad with Sausage

225 g Sausage, chorizo

1 piece Bell pepper, red, fresh

800 g Chickpea, cooked

2 spoons Vinegar, red wine

Steps

Drain the chickpeas from the can, rinse under running water, and drain well. Slice the sausage into rings. Clean the bell pepper (remove the stem and seeds), wash it, and cut it into smaller pieces.

Heat a little olive oil in a pan and roast the sausage rings until crispy. Remove the roasted sausage from the pan and set aside on a plate. Add the chopped bell pepper to the pan and quickly sauté it over high heat, stirring constantly.

Add the drained chickpeas to the pan. Mix well and season with pepper, salt, and vinegar. Once the chickpeas are heated, remove the pan from the heat and mix in the roasted sausage rings.

Serve the prepared salad in salad bowls and accompany with roasted garlic bread croutons.
