Ingredients
-
2 spoons Oil, olive
-
250 g Spinach, raw
-
pieces Garlic, fresh
-
200 g Cheese, creamy
-
150 g Cheese, feta
-
250 g Yogurt, plain, from whole milk
-
pieces Salt, table
Steps
-
Clean the spinach, wash it, and dry it. Peel the garlic and finely chop it.
-
Heat oil in a large pan. Add the spinach and sauté it until it wilts and softens. If you don’t have a large enough pan, sauté the spinach in two batches.
-
Add the chopped garlic to the pan and sauté it with the spinach for 1-2 minutes until fragrant (be careful not to burn it). Remove from heat and let it cool.
-
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and half of the crumbled feta. Season with ground pepper to taste, and be cautious when adding salt, as the feta is already salty. Mix the ingredients using an electric mixer.
-
Stir the sautéed spinach and the remaining crumbled feta into the mixture. If you have an oven-safe pan, transfer the prepared mixture into it; otherwise, use a smaller baking dish or another ovenproof container.
-
Place the pan/dish in the oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve the warm spread with toasted bread, crackers, breadsticks, or flatbread.
