Whole Wheat Bread
The best homemade bread is kneaded from freshly ground, organically grown flour and baked in a bread oven. In many places, people still bake bread at home, using a piece of dried dough from a previous bake instead of yeast. Homemade bread is better, healthier, and cheaper than store-bought. 20 g Yeast, dry

Prepare the yeast starter: In a pot, mix 1 dl of lukewarm water with yeast, a teaspoon of sugar, and a teaspoon of flour. Cover the pot, place it in a warm (but not hot!) spot, and let the yeast rise for 10 minutes. Sift the flour into a bowl, salt the edges, and drizzle with oil. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast starter, mixing it with a little flour, and let it rise for another 10 minutes.

Heat half a liter of water to lukewarm in a pot. Pour the lukewarm water into the flour and knead the dough. Start kneading by mixing all the ingredients with your hand, then transfer the dough to a floured board and knead it with both hands. Knead until it becomes smooth and easily separates from your hands and the bowl. Shape it into a ball, transfer it to a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm, draft-free place. Let the dough rest for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

Knead the dough again and shape it into two loaves. Place them in oblong baskets and let them rise for another hour.

Preheat the oven to 230 °C. Grease the baking pan and dust it with flour or line it with baking paper. Place the loaves in the pan and bake for 15 minutes at 230 °C, then lower the temperature to 170 °C and bake for another 40 minutes. Place the baked bread on a rack, cover with a cloth, and wait for it to cool.

Advice
Using a dough mixer will make kneading the dough much easier. Additionally, the male part of the family will be much more willing to take over the bread baking if they can use a machine for the task. If you want the crust to shine, sprinkle the loaf or bread with water before putting it in the oven. Baked bread will sound hollow when tapped on the bottom of the loaf. Another method is to pierce it with a knitting needle. If the bread is baked, the needle will be almost dry and without any dough residue. You can add cooked and cooled grains of the flour used to the dough for homemade bread. You can also add various seeds (sunflower, sesame, flax, pumpkin seeds, nuts) or crushed dried herbs (marjoram, thyme, basil, savory, parsley, dill, oregano, etc.) to the bread dough.
