Ingredients
-
400 g Pasta, noodles, fresh
-
1.5 spoons Salt, table
-
300 g Fish, shrimp
-
2 spoons Oil, olive
-
1 teaspoon Spices, oregano, dried
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 handful Basil, fresh
-
2 spoons Lemon zest, fresh
-
1 can Olives, green, in brine
Steps
-
Place a large pot with four liters of water on the stove. Wait for the water to boil. Just before it boils, add salt. Add the wide noodles to the boiling water and cover the pot with a lid. Wait for the water to boil again, then uncover the pot. Stir the pasta several times during cooking to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot. Cook the pasta exactly as long as indicated on the package. Drain the cooked noodles well and transfer them to a large bowl.
-
Place the turnips in a pan, drizzle with olive oil, season with dried oregano and salt, then roast them for two minutes on each side. Transfer the roasted turnips to the bowl with the noodles.
-
Wash the basil leaves and cut them into strips, then add the basil and lemon zest to the bowl with the noodles. Finally, open the can of pitted olives, drain them, and rinse under running water. Mix the olives with the noodles. Serve the dish on plates with a glass of red wine.

Advice
Before grating the lemon zest, wash the lemon thoroughly. Make sure to use an organic lemon. Instead of basil, you can also use fresh oregano, rosemary, or another Mediterranean herb/spice.
