- Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
1 piece Meat, chicken, breasts
-
1.5 l Soup base, chicken, cube
-
pieces Potatoes, white
-
2 piece Carrot, fresh
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
150 g Okra
-
pieces Spices, mayonnaise, dried
-
pieces Sour cream
Steps
-
Wash the chicken breasts and add them to a pot filled with broth. Place it on the stove and slowly bring the contents to a boil. Reduce the heat so the liquid barely simmers, partially cover the pot, and cook the chicken breasts for 20 minutes.
-
While the meat is cooking, prepare the vegetables. Thoroughly clean, wash, and cut them into smaller pieces. Peel the onion and finely chop it. After 20 minutes of cooking, remove the chicken meat from the pot. Place it on a plate and let it cool slightly, then shred it into pieces. Add the onion, carrots, and potatoes to the pot. Cook the vegetables at a gentle simmer for 20 minutes, then add the Brussels sprouts and shredded chicken to the pot. Season to taste with marjoram, pepper, and salt. Cook the soup for another 10 to 15 minutes, adding more liquid (water or broth) if needed.
-
Serve the prepared soup in deep bowls. Optionally, enrich it with a spoonful of sour cream and serve with bread.
