Ingredients
-
1.5 spoons Oil, olive
-
0.5 piece Onion, raw
-
1 pod Garlic, fresh
-
2 piece Potatoes, white
-
0.5 piece Meat, chicken, breasts
-
pieces Spices, onion powder
-
200 g Mushrooms, shiitake, fresh
Steps
-
Peel the onion and garlic, and chop them finely separately. Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into cubes. Clean the shiitake mushrooms slightly if needed and cut or tear them into pieces. Also, cut the chicken into smaller pieces.
-
Heat the oil in a pot and first sauté the onion. Once it becomes translucent, add the garlic and wait until it becomes fragrant.
-
Add the diced potatoes and mix, then after a few minutes, add the chopped chicken breasts. Season to taste with homemade vegeta or add salt, pepper, and any desired spices. Continue to sauté everything for a few more minutes (until the water from the chicken almost evaporates), then add the chopped shiitake mushrooms. Continue to sauté on low heat, stirring the ingredients frequently.
-
After a few minutes, add three glasses of water (you can add more or less depending on the desired thickness of the stew), which can be partially or fully replaced with broth (chicken or vegetable). Let the stew simmer slowly until the potatoes are fully cooked. Add more salt and/or pepper if needed.
-
Serve the prepared stew in deep bowls or soup cups. Add bread on the side if desired.
