Ingredients

300 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

150 g Butter, unsalted

1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell

0.5 bags Baking powder

100 g Powdered sugar

30 g Nuts, hazelnuts

Steps

Cut the butter into pieces and finely grate the zest of one lemon. Sift the flour together with baking powder into a large bowl and sprinkle the butter pieces on top. Add sugar, lemon zest, vanilla sugar, ground hazelnuts, egg, and egg yolk.

Quickly knead all the ingredients by hand into a crumbly dough, shape it into a ball, wrap it in foil, and place it in the refrigerator for one hour. Meanwhile, line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to 0.5 cm thickness and use cookie cutters to cut out cookies in various spooky shapes. Place the cookies on the baking tray.

Place the baking tray in the oven and bake the cookies for exactly 15 minutes until they turn golden brown. Remove the tray from the oven and let the cookies cool. Then arrange them on a platter and serve to your guests.

Advice
