Wontons with Crab Filling
Wontons can be folded in several ways. For this recipe, place the filling in the center of the dough square and fold the dough diagonally to create a triangular pocket. Seal the edges well to prevent the filling from escaping during frying. Lift the left and right corners of the folded side and press them together. Stand the wonton upright and fold the tip of the triangle outward.

Ingredients

0.5 cups Soup base, chicken, cube

250 g Cabbage, Chinese (pak-choi), fresh
Steps

Wash the lobster, remove the meat, and clean it thoroughly. Finely chop the lobster meat.

Heat oil in a pan and sauté the meat while stirring. Add the sauce and sherry. Season with salt and monosodium glutamate, and mix all ingredients well. Mix cornstarch with chicken broth in a bowl and use it to thicken the crab sauce. Add cleaned, washed, and thinly sliced cabbage to the pan. Remove the pan from heat, mix the filling, and let it cool.

Spread the prepared wonton wrappers on a clean work surface. Place a spoonful of the prepared filling on each wrapper. Fold the dough as described in the recipe introduction.

Heat frying oil in a wok. The oil layer should be at least 6 cm deep. When the oil is very hot but not smoking, fry the prepared wontons until golden brown on all sides. Remove the fried wontons with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Divide the wontons onto plates and serve with your choice of side dishes and sauces.
