Ingredients
-
225 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
250 ml Milk, partially skimmed
-
2 spoons Butter, unsalted
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
4 spoon Marinara sauce
Steps
-
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Be careful not to let it foam or brown! Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them. Sift the flour and salt into a larger bowl. Make a small well in the center and pour in the milk, melted butter, and whisked eggs.
-
Mix all the ingredients with a hand mixer into a smooth and liquid batter without lumps. Cover the bowl and let the batter rest for 1 hour.
-
Preheat the oven to 230 °C. Pour a teaspoon or two of the roasting juices into each muffin tin cavity and place the tin in the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Then carefully remove the tin from the oven and fill each cavity with the prepared batter. Fill them to about 1/3 full.
-
Place the tin back in the oven for 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 175 °C and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the tin from the oven and let the puddings cool slightly. Then turn them out of the tin, plate them, and serve.
