150 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

375 g Small pumpkins

1 piece Onion, raw

200 g Meat, pork, smoked bacon

120 g Cheese, Gouda

50 ml Oil, vegetable oil, canola

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius. Lightly grease a deep baking dish (20 x 30 cm) with oil and line it with baking paper.

Clean the zucchini, wash them, and grate them finely. Cut the bacon into small pieces, peel the onion, and chop it finely. In a large bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them with a hand whisk. Add the flour and baking powder and mix well to form a smooth egg mixture. Stir in the grated zucchini, bacon, onion, oil, and grated cheese. Season the mixture lightly with pepper and salt, then pour it into the prepared baking dish. Place the dish in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

When the top of the cake is nicely golden brown and the center is no longer liquid, remove it from the oven. Let it cool slightly, then cut it into slices of any size. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Advice
Aged Gouda can be replaced with another type of cheese. A combination of regular Gouda and Parmesan also works well.
