Baked Beans with Bacon
Baked beans are most often used as a side dish for grilled meals, but they can also be served as a standalone dish. Preparing homemade baked beans is very simple, but it is not the fastest process, as the beans need to be soaked for several hours, then cooked, and finally baked in the oven to create a nice crust on top. In a meatless version, you can omit the bacon.
Baked Beans with Cheese and Eggs
A hearty dish featuring layers of cooked beans, boiled eggs, bacon, and crumbled young cheese. An excellent meal for colder days when you crave more robust homemade food.

They are an excellent side dish for many meat and fish dishes, as they have a subtle flavor and wonderfully balance the meal with a good dose of fiber. Children also love them, especially the little ones who enjoy picking them up with their hands and happily munching on them.

White Bean and Roasted Garlic Spread
The idea of adding an entire head of garlic to a spread might seem a bit unusual to some, but roasted garlic, unlike fresh garlic, has a milder and more pleasant flavor. During roasting, it softens and caramelizes, losing its sharpness and gaining a slightly sweet taste that pairs well with white beans. This spread is excellent on fresh bread and can also be served with crackers, breadsticks, and sliced vegetables.
